An unofficial Digimon pet simulator

WARNING: The program is currently in alpha and may still be buggy - please treat your experience as a test run, at least in regards to expectations, and post any and all issues you encounter (as well as suggestions for quality improvements).

Keep a li'l digital monster for your desktop you can take care of. Instead of food, Digimon eat data - feed it unwanted files to help it grow big and strong!

Features:

• Different eggs hatching into different Digimon
• Feed files by dropping them onto the Digimon sprite
  • Files are actually consumed - ie, deleted
  • Paste URLs to feed web pages!
• Digimon gets hungry after not being fed
  • Going hungry too long starts eating into consumed data
• Digivolve after consuming enough data
  • Higher tiers are able to eat larger files
• Snack-generating companion program
  • Convert files to snack files of three 'flavours' that increase Digimon's Data/Virus/Vaccine attributes
• Branching evolution trees - Digivolve based on attributes
• Auto-saves on exit
• Auto-loads on open
  • Catches up to when it was last closed - Digimon goes hungry even while it's not open
